Lori grew up in Rockland County and currently resides in Long Island with her family. While working, raising two daughters, and maintaining an active, full life with her husband and family, she was careful to never let her passion of the arts move too far to the back burner. It was the holding of first a crayon, colored pencils and then a paint brush that provided comfort, drive and passion in her life. As a child, anything that visually excited her, she would quickly recreate in her own eyes as an object of art and beauty. Spending many enjoyable hours engrossed in her sketch books and taking painting lessons was a joy to her. She feels grateful to have experienced being an Art major in college at SUNY Albany. This is where she was drawn to watercolor painting, which is her current medium. The control of boldness and contrast using water and fluidity is a technique she finds highly effective in conveying the results she strives for.
